Take the train to Coney Island, grab a couple of hot dogs and fries at Nathan's, spend some time at the aquarium (http://www.yelp.com/bi...), walk along the boardwalk (no kidding, it's great on a brisk winter day), then have dinner at Gargiulo's (http://www.yelp.com/bi...).
Visit the Cloisters (http://www.yelp.com/bi...) in Manhattan, then have lunch at the New Leaf Cafe (http://www.yelp.com/bi...).
Have pizza at Grimaldi's (http://www.yelp.com/bi...), dessert at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory (http://www.yelp.com/bi...), then work off the calories by walking across the Brooklyn Bridge.
