Region 2 only. So you will need a Region-free dvd player. But no subtitles...

Yeah, my problem with region-free dvd players is that they're bare bones crappy.

Just google "dvd utils" and you'll find unlock codes, some easier than others (some are just remote control codes, others involve soldering, etc). Factory workers use these for on the spot tests, etc. Sony players are less likely to have these, as Sony owns Columbia, and makes more than a token effort at complying with the region controls.
