So I wrote a very honest yet fair review of Exotica Airbrush Tanning(check my yelps on the last page) and some one tipped off the owner!  I guess that's good b/c then it keeps businesses ACCOUNTABLE for the quality of their services, right?

WELL, she had my info so she called me today (b/c she kept my info and looked at my pic) to ask my to come in again for another try--comped off course-- b/c she said that it showed up "5th down" on a Google search and that it was affecting business ("as a single mom and small business").  Made me feel a bit sad but then again, my poor review of the place was totally valid ... very splotchy and uneven!!!!  I've gotten airbrush tanning once before in Alameda and I had NO problem whatsoever with fading or whatever...

SO the question is:
should i go and should i bring a friend?  not really down for shit-talking behind my back or fake, bitter- friendliness.

has this ever happened to you?  i figure that this is a good way for businesses to check up on and improve thier customer service....
GO YELP!!!!

Sure, let her try to make amends (especially if it's free).  Maybe you went there on an off-day.  I think it's nice that she's trying to make the effort.

Sre, you should go if you want another tan. Explain to them that you were unsatisfied with your tan last time. You weren't being fake at all, your review being "very honest yet fair." It shows something about their business that they want to fix their mistakes; hopefully, it will be in good nature and everything will work out for you.

Just ask yourself how you would handle it and want to be treated if the shoe is on the other foot. She seems like she's trying to make amend. Always give people the benefit of the doubt. You'll both become stronger for it. Heck, it's free.

Well if the owner is trying to improve and they're not just trying to do something especially for you then I think that's a sincere attempt.

Personally, I like being the mystery shopper.  If I have a bad experience, so be it.  I think each customer should be treated with respect and patience.  No one deserves to get cheated.
